Atiku Met Me With Yar’adua As A Strategist When He Left Customs, Ask Him – Tinubu

The Arewa House in Kaduna has become a place where all the Presidential candidates in Nigeria have been visiting lately. The Presidential candidates have been interacting with Northern leaders who asked them different questions on what they have in stock for Northern Nigeria. The House was where the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar made the viral statement that Northerners should vote for him and not Igbo or Yoruba candidates because he is a Pan-Nigerian who has transverse the whole of Nigeria.

However, while also addressing the multitude of people at the Arewa House in Kaduna, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu said he was already a strategist with the late Yar’adua before Atiku joined them after retiring as a customs officer. Tinubu said,

“I was one of the youngest strategists with Shehu Musa Yar’adua. I started here in the North. Atiku met me with Yar’adua after he left Nigeria Customs freshly. He met me strategizing for Yar’adua, ask him…..”

“If you started your campaign in Uyo and you came to Kaduna to campaign about the tribe, you have lost this election.”
