Some Nigerians have taken to social media to react to photos of Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), with his grandchildren.
Bashir Ahmad, special assistant on digital communications to President Muhammad Buhari, on Thursday, shared photos of the former Lagos governor on his Twitter handle.
“Good morning from our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu, and his grandchildren. A wonderful family person,” Ahmad tweeted.
Last Sunday, Tinubu shared a video of himself cycling on a fitness bike.
The video came amid concerns over his whereabouts, following his absence at the signing of the peace accord for the 2023 elections.
The video had elicited varied reactions as some Nigerians believe that it was published to prove that the APC presidential candidate is hale and hearty.
A section of Twitter users advised the presidential candidate not to run for the election, but should rather go take care of his grandchildren.
Others said the video looked like a strategy deployed during the 2015 presidential campaign photos of President Muhammadu Buhari, who was then the ruling party’s flag bearer.
