ARS 3-1 TOT: Best And Worst Players From The Game As Rampaging Gunners Beat Spurs

Worst Players.

1. Emerson. R.

The Tottenham Hotspur defender put in a great first-half performance against Arsenal today. He was very lively and helped keep his team compact in defence but his undoing came in the second half of the game. His horror tackle on an Arsenal player earned him a straight red card. It was such an unprofessional tackle from Emerson and it had a big effect on the game in terms of the result and performance of his team afterwards.

2. C. Romero.

Not a very solid performance from Tottenham’s Argentine centre-back, Christian Romero. A few good touches here and there but overall, he struggled defensively at times.

3. Gabriel. M.

Gabriel Magalhaes will be relieved that Arsenal still managed to get another two goals after his initial penalty giveaway helped Tottenham score an equaliser in the first half of the game. At the moment, he seems like the only weak link in this Arsenal team. One moment he appears very good and the next moment, he is making silly mistakes.

Best Players.

1. Gabriel Jesus.

Looks like Gabriel Jesus already has a spot reserved for him on this part of the list each time Arsenal plays; that’s s testament to his brilliant performances for the Gunners since he joined them. He got a goal today and was as dangerous as ever.

2. Harry Kane.

Even though his team failed to win today’s game, Harry Kane has to be included here for his record-breaking outing. His goal in today’s game brought his total away goals tally in the Premier League to 100, the most of any player in history. Not only that, but it was also his 14th goal against Arsenal, in 18 appearances. Harry loves a goal against the Gunners indeed.

3. T. Party.

What a goal from the Ghanaian international to set the ball rolling for Arsenal in the first half of the game. A fierce shot from 25 yards out caught Lloris out. There was nothing Lloris could do about it, it was that special!
