Tottenham boss Antonio Conte reacts to Chelsea sacking Thomas Tuchel

Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, was asked about his opinion on the recent sacking of Thomas Tuchel by Chelsea after Spurs UEFA Champions League win over Marseille.

Both managers are among the best in Europe & have many titles to their name, football is now business, and if you don’t deliver results, you’re out. Sadly, that is what happen with the German tactician on Wednesday.

Conte and Tuchel were recently embroiled in a heated brawl at Stamford Bridge.

At full time, the two managers went to shake hands after a few tense moments throughout the game. Tuchel was upset with Conte for not looking him in the eye, and this nearly led to a big fight.

Three weeks later, Chelsea’s new owners made the decision they no longer wanted Tuchel. Unsurprisingly, the media were interested in hearing Conte’s response to the news when the 49-year-old was fired yesterday.

In Conte’s Post match press conference, he said as per Football London

“Honestly, I don’t want to be disrespectful.

“I think when another club takes a decision, I think it is right to don’t take comment because you don’t know what happened.”
