The long awaited 2022/2023 Champions league season has finally began.
For Group E, Chelsea visited Dinamo Zagreb at the Stadion Maksimir stadium, and ended the game 1-0 with the home team picking all points. Later on, RB Salzburg hosted AC Milan, and were able to secure a point from the game which ended in a 1-1 draw.
For Group F, the title holders, Real Madrid visited Celtic, and defeated them comfortably ending the game 0-3 in favour of the visitors. Shakhtar Donetsk beat RB Leipzig 1-4 to claim full points from the game.
For Group G, Manchester City visited Spanish club, Sevilla, and took all points, defeating the host 0-4. Dortmund beat Copenhagen 0-3 to claim full points.
For Group H, Paris Saint-Germain began their campaign on a good start by defeating Italian club, Juventus 2-1. Benfica were also able to secure victory in their tie against Maccabi Haifa which ended 2-0.
