The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said that most of the assets linked to him are not owned by him. The presidential candidate said he only created an economic path for Lagos State.
Tinubu said this in a documentary released by his team on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The clip showed Tinubu’s journey from secondary school, to higher education, his career in the private and public sectors, and his achievements as the governor of Lagos State.
In the 30 minute clip, Tinubu bragged about developing the Lekki corridor in Lagos State.
The former governor said the site where Oriental Hotel is situated now was a refuse dump when he assumed office in 1999.
The presidential said it took several months to convince investors to embark on the project.
Tinubu concluded that most of the properties linked to him are not owned by him.
