Sadio Mane Sticks To His Islamic Belief As Bayern Organizes Their Traditional ‘Paulaner’ Photoshoot.

Bayern Munich has already put their frustrating 1-1 stalemate with Borussia Monchengladbach behind them by donning their ‘Lederhosen’ for their traditional ‘Paulaner’ photoshoot.

This annual ‘ritual’ usually sees the players and coaching staff wear a grey coat and khaki shorts whilst holding a glass of beer in front of the camera.

However, from this picture below, Sadio Mane can be seen holding nothing in his hands, an action that further goes to show how respectful he is to Islam which views taking of alcohol as a ‘Haraam’ or forbidden in the religion.

Mane wasn’t the only one without a beer in his hands as fellow summer signing Noussair Mazraoui showed he’s also a true Muslim by sticking to his belief as someone who practices the Islamic religion.

Bayern will aim to bounce back from their recent setback in the Bundesliga following their hard-fought draw at home to Monchengladbach. The German champions trailed for most part of the second half on Saturday, with the opposition goalkeeper Sommer making a record 19 saves to severally deny them of an equalizer.

Fortunately for the Bavarians, Leroy Sane put them back on level terms 7 minutes from stoppage time, with star forward Mane failing to find the back of the net in what was a tense encounter between the two sides at the Allianz Arena.
