The Third Round Fixtures of the Carabao Cup 22/23 campaign has now been released.
After the Magpies defeated Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park, the Premier League’s top six would have all hoped to avoid one another in the draw, which was held live on Sky Sports. But out of a number of matches featuring elite clubs, Manchester City vs. Chelsea stands out as the biggest of all.
In other matches, Aston Villa will face Erik Ten Hag’s United in an all-Premier League match, while Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will host Graham the Seagulls at the Emirates Stadium.
