Lady narrates how female boss beat her up, tore her clothes for refusing to sign termination letter

A lady working in a logistics company in Lagos State on Tuesday, August 9, gave details of how her female boss beat her up and even tore her clothes over her refusal to sign a letter terminating her appointment in the organization.

In fact, her narratives got the attention of the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force, Muyiwa Adejobi, who not only expressed shock about the incident, but also asked the lady to give him  details of the incident.

The lady, whose name is Ema Rose, with Twitter handle @Ema_Tinuel, disclosed that her female boss in a logistics company located in Iyana Oworo area of Lagos State terminated her appointment due to what was regarded as her unprofessional and insolent outburst in her office.

However, the lady disclosed that she refused to sign the duplicate copy of the letter and this made the female boss to beat her up and even tore her clothes in the process.

Displaying photographs of her injured body, the lady disclosed that she passed out due to the beating and she spent some hours in a hospital for treatment.

According to the letter of the termination of her employment which she displayed on her Twitter handle, the termination took immediate effect as the company said her salary for the month of August would be paid into her account as soon as possible.

According to the letter signed by the Managing Director (names withheld by me): “Sequel to your unprofessional and insolent outburst yesterday at my office, your employment as a staff of (company’s name withheld by me) is hereby terminated with immediate effect.

“Your salary for this month will be calculated and paid into your account as soon as possible.”

The lady also wrote a tweet about the incident, saying: “My toxic boss beat me up till I passed out, tore my clothes for refusing to sign a termination letter. It all started with hating my spray, my mode of dressing and I wonder, does women support women.”

Her tweet got the attention of the Force PRO who wrote on his Twitter handle: “Send more info to me on my line. Haaaa, i will direct message you now.”
