2023 Polls: APC Reveals Date To Start Campaign

The All Progressives Congress APC, has revealed new date to start campaigning for the 2023 presidential race. The national working committee headed by the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, revealed the new date to commence the presidential campaign for the 2023 election.

 

This was revealed by the Nigeria Tribune Online, that the national working committe of the party, will meet today as regards to the kick start of the presidential campaign of the party.

It should be recalled, that the national executive council NEC met on April and ceded power to the national working committee of the party.

The Nigeria Tribune made it known that a party source said, an emergency meeting of NEC organ of the party, became necessary for them to renew the authority conceeded to the senator Adamu-led NWC.

It was also revealed that with the expiration of the three months power transfer which ended on the 22nd of July, the NWC organ if the APC can no longer take vital decisions on behalf of the party, without the approval of the NEC organ and in view of this reality.

The source claimed that, barring any last minute change, the party will today (announce) september 28, 2022 as the date of their presidential campaign Tinubu and Shettima will kickstart.

 

It should be recalled that the party, had recently inaugurated presidential campaign committee for Tinubu and Shettima, where the Governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong and the state minister for Labour, Festus Keyamo were announced as Director General and spokesman for the campaign committee.
