Three talking points in Barcelona 6-0 win as Robert Lewandowski nets his first and long awaited goal

 

Xavi Hernandez led Barcelona team were in action yesterday in the final of the Joan Gamper Trophy against U.N.A.M Pumas at the Camp Nou which was a perfect test of time for the Catalan giant going into the new La Liga Santander season.

 

Barcelona in the game ran riot by scoring a massive six goals against the visitor to emerge the Champion of this season’s edition of the trophy with some things noticed in the thrilling and dominating encounter.

 

 

A stunning brace from Pedri Gonzalez and a goal each from Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele gave Barcelona a four nil lead going into the half time break before they were able to add more to the scoreline in the second half, courtesy of goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong which ended the game six goals to nil at full time.

They will be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next game which will be their opening game in the new Spanish La Liga Santander season when they host Rayo Vallecano at the Camp Nou comes 13th of August.
