Nigerian Instagram comedian turned singer, Carter Efe, has achieved a laudable milestone following his switch from comedy to music.
His debut single, ‘Machala’ has emerged the number song in Nigeria, after amassing a cumulative total number of streams which puts him ahead of top artistes in the country.
Machala came tops as the Nigerian song with the highest number of streams for the week across all online streaming platforms.
He beat the likes of Fireboy DML who came 2nd with Bandana and Burna Boy, sitting at the 3rd spot with his one of his latest songs, It’s Plenty.
Carter Efe reacted to the development by taking to his Instagram page on Saturday to share with a video of him celebrating.
He captioned; ”NO 1 in NIGERIA”
