Four things noticed in Barcelona’s 2-2 draw against Juventus FC in a preseason friendly match

Barcelona football club were forced to a 2-2 draw by Italian serie A giants Juventus football club in a preseason friendly match on Wednesday morning.

Coach Xavi Hernandez started his best players against their opponent, and they were able to impress in the entertaining encounter.

The former Spain national team star started with 4-3-3 formation, but they were unable to secure the maximum three points in the game.

Ousmane Dembele opened scoring for Barcelona football club in the 33th minute and Moise Kean equalized in the 39th minute before Ousmane Dembele scored his second goal of the game in the 40th minute to end the first half 2-1.

Italy national team star Moise Kean equalized for Juventus football club in the 52nd minute after receiving an assist from Manuel Locatelli to end the match 2-2.

Here are the four things that were noticed in Barcelona’s 2-2 draw against Juventus FC in a preseason friendly match;

Christensen and Garcia should never play together at centre back

Former Chelsea star Andreas Christensen was exceptional in Barcelona’s defence against Juventus football club, and his excellent performance did not go unnoticed.

The Danish star started in Barcelona’s defence line alongside Spain national team star Eric Garcia but their combination was not good enough. Eric Garcia supposed to have been benched, while Christensen supposed to have been paired with another player.

Nico probably shouldn’t have started with Busquets

Just like Eric Garcia, Nico should have been introduced to the pitch in the second half of the game, because he performed woefully in the first half and that’s one of the reasons he was substituted before the start of the second half.

Robert Lewandowski desperately needs a goal

The former Bayern Munich football club star was given a starting role by coach Xavi Hernandez, but he was not at his best against Juventus football club.

The Poland national team captain made his debut against Real Madrid FC and he has now played two matches without finding the back of the net. He needs to start scoring goals in order to secure his spot in the team’s first eleven.

Ousmane Dembele supposed to have started in the second half

The France national team star was Barcelona’s best player against Juventus football club, and he was able to score two first half goals for the club.

Despite his impressive performance for the club he was replaced before the start of second half, and he might have completed his hat-trick hadn’t been he was given more playing time in the second half.
