David De Gea has been slammed for “ducking” for the 93rd minute goal Manchester Unitedconceded against Aston Villa.
The Red Devils’ perfect record under new boss Erik ten Hag came to an end after they surrendered a 2-0 goal lead at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.
United were 2-0 up at half-time courtesy of a strike from in-form Jadon Sancho and a Matty Cash own goal, but Leon Bailey pulled one back before Calum Chambers headed home the equaliser with the last kick of the game.
De Gea received a whole lot of stick for hesitating in coming for the cross and allowing the simple set-piece goal.
But the negative reaction didn’t stop there for the Spanish goalkeeper, who many believe actually ducked out the way to allow Chambers the free header after the slight blocking from Cameron Archer
