“We Stopped Adamu From Picking Lawan as APC Consensus Candidate, Give us VP Slot” – Govs to Tinubu

According to a report credited to the Vanguard News, APC Governors from the Northern Region are insisting on a serving Colleague to be picked as Vice-presidential Candidate to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the 2023 APC Presidential Candidate.

The Governors who are reportedly pushing Tinubu’s Running Mate to come from the North-East particularly Borno State against the backdrop of the fact that the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan who hails from Yobe State did not get a return ticket and that on the other hand, if it goes to the North-West, it should not be Katsina State because the State has produced the Late Former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and the Incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
