A Prominent Ijaw Leader, Melford Dokubo Goodhead who is popularly known as Asari Dokubo has urged Nigerians to rally round the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He said Nigerians will miss a lot if they fail to vote for Tinubu.

Tinubu, a Former Governor of Lagos State and APC National Leader recently defeated 12 Other Contestants to win the APC Presidential Ticket at the party’s Presidential Primaries held in Abuja. Dokubo recalled the kind gestures of Tinubu during his trying times.

It will be recalled that Dokubo was sent to prison during the Administration of Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and was later released on Bail in June 2007, few weeks after the Late Ex-President Umaru Musa Yar’adua assumed office. He recount all the good things Tinubu did for him while he was in detention.
Speaking in a Video, Dokubo revealed how he trekked miles to attend Tinubu’s Court Case when the Ex-Governor was taken to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), he added that Tinubu came to embrace him after the Court Session.
Speaking further, The Rivers State-born Ex-Militant Leader stated that while he was in Prison, Tinubu paid his Children’s School Fees, gave him and his wife Houses at VGC and Ogba respectively.
