Cristiano Ronaldo dedicates goal against Switzerland to his mum who was in the stand watching

Former Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo was astonishing yesterday for Fernando Santos led Portugal national team in their second game of the ongoing UEFA Nations League against Switzerland.

The forward enigma made his return to the starting XI line-up after starting their first game against Spain from the bench before coming on in the second half to turn the fortune of the game around with a hand in the build up to their equalizer, that ended the game one all draw at full time.

The 37 years old football maestro had a very good day at office with an all-round performance that got him a brace that extended his stand as the all-time leading goalscorer in men’s international football to 117 with 100 of it been a non-penalty goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo after netting his first goal of the night jumped into celebration after which he pointed to the stand where his mother was watching the game, with his mother also spotted in tears after she also got emotional seeing her son make her proud.

This was a very incredible moment for both son and mother and what a privilege to watch the five times Ballon d’or winner play the round leather game in this generation.
