EPL: Final Table, Match review, Top scorers, Clean sheets, Assists leaders after all games played


The final round of fixtures for the 2021/2022 English Premier league season was played out today with quite alot at stake for so many teams.

Manchester City went on to win the English Premier league title after Pep Guardiola’s side staged an incredible comeback to earn a 3-2 win against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.


That result meant Liverpool’s 3-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers was not enough to see the reds clinch top spot on the table as Jurgen Klopp’s men fell short in the title race once again.


Chelsea ended a topsy turvy season with a slender 2-1 win over relegation bound Watford courtesy of a goals from Kai Havertz and Ross Barkley while Tottenham Hotspur also secured a spot in the EPL Top 4 with a resounding 5-0 victory over Norwich City.

That victory meant Arsenal would fail to qualify for the Uefa Champions league for a fifth consecutive season despite the Gunners huge 5-1 win against Everton.


Elsewhere, Crystal Palace inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Manchester United at the Selhurst Park stadium while West Ham United were beaten by Brighton at the Amex stadium.
