Relationship statuses usually depend on a person. Some people chose to remain single in life simply because they can’t deal with the pressure of a relationship. Others choose to look for a life partner and get married.
A certain 40 year old lady posted her story on social media that got her a lot of attention explaining why she had been single for about 7 years. She wrote:
“I’m 40 years I’ve been single since 2014 I don’t drink, I don’t smoke and I don’t have kids I am single because I don’t know what I want.”
A lot of people sympathized with ger for the fact that she was admitting to her flaws of not being able to know what she wants. Most of the time people who do not know what they want suffer a lot from decision making. They will change their minds a couple of times up until the other part also gets tired of it and moves on.
The fact that she mentioned that she did not drink or smoke was a clear indication that she was a normal human being without characteristics that are usually referred to as red flags.
A lot of people however strengthened her and assured her that there was nothing wrong with being 40 and single. Not everyone finds a patner and settles at the exact same time. Some people do take a little longer than others. There is no timeline in life.
