Meet Top Female Celebrities Who Were Club Strippers Before Fame

There are lots of actors who have played strippers, but has the thought ever crossed your mind that some Hollywood stars actually used to strip before their fame? Entertainment and music industry is a tough gig. Actors and musicians have to go through great lengths to make ends meet before they get their big break – if they get their big break. Even some of the most well-known celebrities had normal, soul-sucking minimum wage jobs like the rest of society at one point.

However, there were some who couldn’t handle the comparatively small salary of blue-collar work, so they turned to stripping.

Cardi B

As a young woman, Cardi B began stripping and did so for three and a half years. This work allowed her to pay her bills, rent an apartment, and put her savings toward becoming an artist in April 2018, when she appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

She also claimed that by the time she was 20, she had amassed a net worth of $20,000 as a result of her previous employment.

She said to Cosmopolitan that she keeps bringing up the topic of stripping since the individuals who work in the profession aren’t treated with respect.

While speaking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, she said that she made more money as a stripper than she did as a waiter. “I was a burlesque performer, so I didn’t reveal too much. Because of my European heritage, I didn’t find it strange, and I didn’t do anything particularly nefarious, despite what my father thought.

Blac Chyna

During her time as a stripper at Miami’s King of Diamonds gentlemen’s club, Blac Chyna admitted on Facebook Live in August 2016 that she probably would have stayed in the business if she hadn’t become famous.

After the fan asked if she would still be working at the club, she answered, “I’d probably still be doing that,” to which the audience laughed. I’m simply being honest. There’s nothing else I can do.”

Amber Rose

In an interview with Cosmopolitan US in 2015, Amber revealed that she was a stripper from the age of 18 till the age of 25.

She said, “That was the finest moment of my life!” There’s no way to put into words how much pleasure I had. Yes, I was sincere. All of the female students were really kind and approachable. There was a rule that the boys couldn’t touch you. None of this ever happened to me. I was a young, attractive performer who wasn’t ashamed of her body because she was onstage. Friendships were forged that will last a lifetime.”
