3 Super Eagles Players Who Performed Badly In The Goalless Draw With Ghana.

The Super Eagles quest to appear in the biggest tournament in the world is still on track after they played out a goalless draw against their fierce rivals, Ghana.

The Black Stars had more of the possession as the Super Eagles were a shadow of themselves in the game. Coach Eguavoen started with a 4-4-2 formation but later switched to his usual 4-3-3 in which he used at the AFCON.

However, there are three players who don’t deserve to play for the super eagles after a goalless draw on the night;

One player who was lost all through the game was Leicester City’s attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho. He had a poor game and gave out the ball on several occasions. It was surprising to see him play all 90 minutes despite having a terrible performance.

Another player who performed poorly was Nantes winger, Moses Simon. The Jos born winger missed the best chance of the game that would have put the Super Eagles in the driving seat before their return leg in Abuja. The player also lost possession of the ball on several occasions.

Lastly, another player who wasn’t at the top of his game was Zaidu Sanusi. The Porto man was a bit shaky at the left back. He was later replaced by Rangers defender, Bassey.
