According to FIFA records, Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed Pele as the all-time highest goalscorer in the history of professional football.

Ronaldo equaled Josef Bican’s record of 805 officially recognized goals with a spectacular long-range drive against Tottenham.
After Harry Kane had equalized from the penalty spot, he pulled two ahead of the Austrian-Czech legend by scoring from Alex Telles’s corner to put United 3-2 up.
Bican, who played for Slavia Prague from 1931 to 1955, scored the most of his goals for the Czech club, scoring 427 goals in 221 appearances.
Before retiring from football at the age of 42, he played for two national teams: Austria and Czechoslovakia.
Ronaldo has been a prolific goalscorer for all of his clubs, including Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, and is the all-time best scorer in men’s international football, with 115 goals for Portugal.
