PSG locker room in disarray: Neymar and Donnaruma involved in heated argument after the game

PSG’s return home will be far from easy. After losing 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, tempers flared in the dugout, with both Neymar and Donnarumma involved in a fierce argument.

Paris Saint-Germain made a big investment this season by signing Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma with the aim of lifting their first Champions League title.

However, it was Donnarumma who was the protagonist of one of the most controversial actions of the Champions League round of 16, which would start an epic comeback by Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

That is why the PSG dressing room became heated after the match. Neymar Junior and Donnarumma were involved in a fierce argument that could even have come to blows had it not been for the intervention of several members of the first team.

It all started when the Brazilian reproached the goalkeeper for his mistake that led to Benzema’s first goal. The Italian lost the ball two metres from goal under pressure, and ended up giving the ball to Vinicius Júnior, who only provided the assist for the Frenchman to equalise.

For his part, the goalkeeper reminded him that the second goal was a result of him losing the ball in the middle of the pitch. The argument escalated until several of those present had to intervene to avoid blows.
