Liverpool failure to celebrate Sadio Mane AFCON success shows lack of respect for Africa football



Liverpool football club took on relegation threatened Burnley early this afternoon in the Barclay premier league game week 35.

The Reds won that game by a single goal scored by Fabinho in the first half of the match, it was a game that saw Sadio Mane make his return after his success in the just concluded Africa Cup of nation competition in Cameroon.

A competition where he inspired the Senegalese national team to their first Africa Cup Nation title in history and personally bagged the accolade of the best player of the tournament.

Liverpool failed to show him the kind of respect a champion deserves, considering Jurgen Klop remark on the tournament before its kicked off, one can easily conclude that Liverpool have no respect or regards for Africa football competition.
