FIFA Club World Cup: Chelsea coach speaks on Ighalo, Marega ahead of Al Hilal clash

Chelsea’s first-team coach, Zsolt Low has praised Al Hilal stars, Odion Ighalo and Moussa Marega ahead of both sides’ FIFA Club World Cup semi-final tie on Wednesday.

Low, who was standing in for Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, who did not travel with the squad to the United Arab Emirates after testing positive for COVID-19, said he knows Ighalo and Marega.

“We know Al Hilal, it’s a team from Saudi Arabia and have won the Asia Cup a lot of times. This is a very good team, we know a lot of players also from Al Hilal,” Low told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

“We know for example, Marega from Porto, we played against Porto two times in the Champions League and he played against us.

“We also know Ighalo, he also played in England with Watford. They have very good quality upfront, they can score a lot of goals,” he added.

The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Al Hilal is 5:30 pm.
