Bella Shmurda gives thanks for not passing his exams in LASU because it enabled him pursue music

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has given thanks for having academic challenges in school, because it afforded him the opportunity to focus on music.

The ”Cash App” crooner in a series of tweets appreciated Poco Lee and Olamide for supporting his music career for motivating him to do the Vision2020 viral video that brought him into the limelight.

He reminisced on how far he has come in his career and thanked God he never passed his exams.

Bella Shmurda noted that if he had taken his education seriously, he might have still been in school with nothing in his pocket.

He wrote; “Thank God I was stubborn and I never got to pass those exams then. Big thanks to @Poco__lee for telling me to do that vision2020 viral video, shoutout to @Olamide for his listening ears and open hands for upcoming acts.

“I now worth over half a billion streams (550millions streams to be precise). I for still Dey lasu Dey wine and dine with carry overs and stranded with nothing in my pocket… forever glad I did my thing.”
