Austin Eguavoen managed to lead the super eagles of Nigeria to the knockout round of the African cup of nations tournament earlier today, after clenching three wins from three in the group stage of the competition.
He is now the first manager to win all AFCON group stage games for the Super eagles on two separate occasions (back in 2006 and presently in 2022). His appointment as the manager came as a rush, with many people doubting it as they proposed he would fail to take Nigeria out of the group stage.
