The republic of South Africa is one of the country which has another pandemic of Gender Based Violence. At first it was taken gender based violence against women and children because people had that mentality of that it is only women and children whom are being abused by men.
By then it was seems true, but now it seems like that initiative excluded mens or rather it had opened a vacuum for men to be abused. Currently we are seen a wave of videos showing men being heavily beaten up by their wives and sometimes including children.
There is a video of a husband who was captured being heavily beaten up by his wife, in front of her friends, while they are laughing at him and taking videos.
It is so embarrassing what this lady is doing, yes the guy might have wronged her but beating up his man like this won’t solve anything, more especially the pandemic we have as a country of gender based violence.
It is high time that people in a relationships must be encouraged to learn to speak to other people when they are facing challenges. There are pastors within communities they can also help, different Non government organizations and even social workers.
