A popular Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, took to his social media page and revealed that his elder sister who is based in the United Kingdom was very excited when she heard that he charges N800,000 to act a movie.
Uche Maduagwu said that he is supposed to charge higher than the N800,000 that he normally gets from his movie role because he is the most talked-about actor in the whole of Africa. He, however, said that so many movie producers have started sending to him some movie scripts for the 2022 job, and he can never act in movies that are not of standard.
According to Uche Maduagwu, he said: “My elder sister who lives in the UK screamed yesterday when she heard I now charge N800k for a movie role when alert entered my phone. But she forgot that I am the most talked about actor in Africa. I am supposed to charge higher. Right now, some producers have already sent me scripts for the 2022 job. The truth is, you will see me in anyhow movie because I have standards, Oscar Award is a goal”.
