I don’t care – Tuchel threatens Chelsea might not turn up for next week’s games

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has called for football to be stopped.

The German also questioned whether his team will even turn up at Brentford in the Carabao Cup next week if they are forced to play again.

Tuchel spoke out following a 0-0 draw at Wolves after the Blues failed to convince the Premier League to cancel the fixture.

The former PSG boss said Chelsea wanted the game called off because of seven positive COVID-19 cases among his playing squad.

“If we have the next test and the next positive I would like to speak to the people from the Premier League about what they expect.

“Shall we stop and not arrive in the next game if we are made to play?

“When they make us play against Brentford shall we not arrive?

“I don’t care so much about the next games I just care about the next tests and the health of the players,” Tuchel said.

Chelsea had only six players on the subs’ bench at Wolves, including two goalkeepers.
