Sanwo-Olu Converts Lagos Poly And Colleges Of Education To Universities

At Lagos State University (LASU) today, to attend the 2021 Annual GOVERNOR’S LECTURE titled: “Educational Leadership And Technology As Variable Options For Economic Recovery And Nationhood: The Experience Of Lagos State” Organized By Lagos State University Alumni Association.

The Lecture, being delivered by Mr. Governor himself, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu in the presence of the university VC, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the SA Education, Tokunbo Wahab, the Ayangbunren Of Ikorodu, Oba Shotomi, former Works Minister, Senator Seye Ogunlewe, the Pro Chancellor, Mr. David Sunmoni, Prof. Basirat Oladipupo, Fatai Sonoiki, and Kalejaiye Adeboye , Mrs. Kalesanwo , Director with the Lagos State Agency for Informal Education among several others.

To all intents and purposes, Mr. Governor brought his reputation for oratory to bear and did justice to the paper as he received a protracted standing ovation at the conclusion of the highly educative and grossly inspiring Lecture.

Mr. Governor particularly made our day as he pronounced the conversion of the three institutions mentioned above, to the status of universities having been passed into law by the state’s house of Assembly. He also disclosed many other cheering packages for the university.
