After he was tasked by the gods to represent them and depict the culture, a masquerade was seen abandoning his post just to approach a lady he chanced at by the roadside and ask her out.

In the video that has generated mixed reactions on social media, the masquerade was seen seriously wooing the young lady by the roadside. He later brought out his mobile phone and asked the lady to punch her phone number on it.

The masquerade also asked the lady if she was on WhatsApp, and told her to dial the number she entered on his phone for him to confirm it was valid, according to the sounds in the background.
