3 Types Of Prayer That God Can Never Answer According To The Bible

It is good to pray. At the same time, it is very important to know the type of prayer one can offer to God, as there are types of prayers that can never be answered unless one understands what he or she is praying about.

In this article, you will read about the types of things that you should stop praying about if you don’t want to keep stressing yourself out in vain:

1. Praying For Abundant Blessings Without A Job or Work:

It is important to know that these are two contrary things for one to be praying for God’s blessings when one has no work. It is very important for one to first pray to God for a better job or better work before one can pray for abundant blessings from God. This is because the Bible says: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10.

Thus, praying to God for a blessing when one has no job is like a person who went to the farm without a cutlass and hoes. Such a person went to the farm to play.

2. Praying to God for good affection from all men when one lacks good virtues: Praying to God for good affection from all men when one is full of bad character is analogous to trying to move a car without fuel.

Without even praying to God, it is common to achieve your desire to make every man like you through your good disposition. If you are the harsh type or you are too principled, people will stay away from you. That is why the Bible says we should love everyone around us so they can love us in return. 1 Cor. 13:4-5 (ESV): Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

3. Praying That God Should Kill Someone For You:

This is one of the prayers that some people wrongly offer to God. Such a prayer can’t be answered because God is not a hired assassin. Moreover, God wants all men to change their evil ways. That’s why the Bible says in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This statement means that God is not in support of a man killing a fellow man. He wants us to love ourselves and forgive one another. Thus, if anyone indulges in such a prayer, God will never answer it.
