As at yesterday I stumbled upon the real name of Boli and I was surprised to know what the English name.

Boli is a west African food made that is primarily from Plantain was Originated by the Yoruba Tribe in Nigeria. Boli was originated from the South Western Part of Nigeria by the Yoruba people of Nigeria.

Boli is also a the favorite of student, almost everybody in Nigeria love Boli irrespective of their Class or Position, either low income earners, high income earners. It’s simply pure enjoyment

 Boli can be made with Yellow or Ripe plantain, grilled fish, pepper sauce or groundnut

Boli is usually prepared with charcoal grill locally, before preparing Boli you must preheat the grill to a temperature between 150 – 210 degree Celsius

 

 

You can serve it with peppered sauce or grilled fish. Add a very cold beverage
