Meghan Markle has described the moment she went on an incognito Halloween Date with Prince Harry for a last night of fun before they made their relationship public.
The Duchess of Sussex was a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime show, where she opened up about how she and Prince Harry went undercover to enjoy a night out before they were married.
Meghan explained that no one was aware that it was them as they had to keep things under wraps as the public was not allowed to know they were dating.
Ellen asked: “And you got to go to a Halloween party?”
Laughing, Meghan said: “We did.
“He came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came as well.
“And the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple.”
Ellen replied: “So you went with Harry to a Halloween party and they had no idea it was the two of you?”
Giggling, Meghan confirmed that no one had a clue who they were.
She said: “It was a post-apocalypse theme, we had all this very bizarre costume thing going on and we were able to just have one final fun night out.
