Basketmouth has tossed a dose of humour wrapped in nostalgia in a post he shared online as he marks his 11th wedding anniversary with his adorable wife Elsie Okpocha.
The multiple-award-winning comedian and actor whose real name is Bright Okpocha revealed how Elsie savagely gave him a wrong number when he tried to aim his cupid arrow right straight into her heart.
He took to Twitter On November 6 to reveal that she gave him a fake phone number when they first met while jokingly telling all ladies that ‘shakara’ is not good at all. Basketmouth married his wife in 2010 and they have three children together, Janelle, Jason, and Maya Okpocha.
He wrote; “11 years ago, she said ‘I Do’ and she did. Happy birthday to you my love @elsieokpocha.”
He added; ”After you gave me a fake phone number the 1st day I met you, no be 11yrs we don marry so? This life sha, shakara no good sometimes.
Happy Anniversary to you @elsieokpocha thanks for choosing me, thanks for saying yes, thanks for giving me a beautiful home and thank you for being my wife.
Love you forever.”
