
Ikechukwu Divine Oramife built an automatic toy car out of local materials and he named it Lambo 2021. It works with a remote control pad.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, the 15-year-old boy revealed that it took him one month and two weeks to successfully make the car.
According to Ikechukwu, he started building mini machines like helicopter, caterpillar, Airplane, tricycle amongst others, when he was 11 years old.
The boy said he can build a normal motorable car for humans but lack of materials is a challenge.
He said his dream is to be an automobile engineer. He wishes to go to school to be able to hone and develop his skills further.
The brilliant boy also said his next project would be a tanker.
Some of the materials he uses include, aluminum, copper wire, condemned DVD and rubber used in making slippers.
