BREAKING: Nigerian Philanthropist, Captain Idahosa Okunbor Dies At 63

Famous Nigerian philanthropist and business mogul, Captain Idahosa Okunbor has died.

The Genius Media Nigeria gathered that the Edo State-born politician, died in the early hours of Sunday after a protracted battle with cancer.

The philanthropist whose son in-law, Prince Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko is the soon-to-be crowned Olu of Warri, lost a long fought battle with cancer at the age of 63 on Sunday morning.

A trained commercial pilot before going into the business world, Okunbo relocated to London late last year, albeit, temporarily, to attend to his health shortly after the 2020 governorship elections in Edo State where he is from.

Sources say he got better and was planning to return just in time for the coronation of his son in-law on August 21 and had even bought a brand new Rolls Royce for the in coming Olu of Warri who is married to his daughter, Ivie.

Unfortunately, his health took a turn for the worse. He was said to have been surrounded by family and close friends when he gave up the ghost.
