The Governors at the palace
Governors, ministers and top APC officials are currently at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, to formalise plans for the wedding of President Buhari’s son Yusuf Buhari.
Yusuf is currently engaged to Zahra Bayero, the 19-year-old daughter of the Emir of Bichi Alhaji Dr. Nasir Bayero.
The delegation led by Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State are in Kano to fine-tune the wedding plan.
The Emir of Bichi is the younger brother of the Emir of Kano, who is currently hosting the delegation from the president.
According to Daily Trust, some members of the first family are also at the palace to finalise plans for the wedding, which will hold between August and September.
Former Zamfara Governor, Abdul ‘ aziz Yari Abubakar, is among the delegation.
