Nigerian Army inductee, Williams Uchemba pays tribute to fallen troops

Nigerian actor and comedian, Williams Uchemba, has assumed his role as a Nigerian Army inductee, selected to pay tribute to fallen troops.

In January, he was among the Nigerian celebrities screened by the Defense Headquarters that will be paying tribute to the Nigerian troops and fallen heroes.

Ayo Makun, Ramsay Nouah and Rita Daniels were also among those inducted into the Armed Forces of Nigeria by Rear Admiral Obed Ngalabak as Celebrity Friend Of The Armed Forces.

Uchemba took to his Instagram page on Friday, to pay respects while rocking the uniform given to him during the induction.

His contribution also earned him an official recognition from the Nigerian Navy as they awarded him a Certificate Of Recognition to honour him for his humanitarian efforts.

The comic actor shared photos of himself on full army uniform receiving the certificate of recognition from Navy officers.

”😎 ⚠️ ⛔️ #ProudlyCFAN #Riptoourfallenheros #NigerianArmy #ArmedForcesofNigeria”, he captioned.

Reacting to the photos some of his followers had suggested that he should be posted to Sambisa forest to battle with the bandits and Boko Haram insurgents terrorising the country.
