See The 65km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road Commissioned By Benue Governor In Oyo State Today

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, commissioned the 65km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin road in Oyo State on Thursday afternoon. The governor was invited by his Oyo counterpart, Seyi Makinde.

 

Governor Makinde disclosed this on his Twitter handle on Thursday evening. “We were delighted to welcome my brother governor, Dr @GovSamuelOrtom of Benue State, who commissioned the 65-kilometer Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road this afternoon,” he said.

“We embarked on the total reconstruction of this road, which links Ibadan with our food basket, Oke-Ogun, because we understood its economic significance to our engineering of a modern Oyo State.”

Governor Samuel Ortom was warmly welcomed by the people of Oyo State. He was met at the airport in Oyo State by Benue State students before proceeding to commission the road.

The governor was also seen on Agbada and Abeti-aja cap, which signify Yoruba tradition.
