Erling Haaland’s dad and Mino Raiola spotted at Barcelona airport amid transfer speculation

Erling Haaland’s dad Alf-inge and his agent Mino Raiola arrived in Barcelona on Thursday as transfer speculation surrounding the Dortmund striker ramps up.

Alf-inge was spotted leaving Barcelona airport and being picked up by Barcelona president Joan Laporta’s right-hand man, according to Spanish publication Sport.

Alf-inge and Raiola are said to have had a two-hour meeting with Laporta.

Haaland is a target for a number of top clubs in Europe but Barcelona were not one of the front runners.

The sighting in Spain will come as a huge blow for the likes of Manchester United, Man City and Chelsea, who are all strongly linked with the 20-year-old forward.

Real Madrid are also very keen to win the race for the Norway international’s signature.

Haaland has netted 33 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund this season and has chipped in with a further eight assists.
The striker was recently asked to comment on his future but played down speculation he’s looking to leave.

“I still have three years of contract [at Dortmund],” said Haaland. “I am not worried about that. The media are the ones who write about it, I don’t focus on those things.

“I want to improve every day. Ronaldo and Messi… I don’t need to talk about them. They are the best of all time. They are still very far away.”
