Man who earned N5,000 as a lawyer in Nigeria shares motivational story as he now works in a top New York law firm

A Nigerian man simply identified as Temitayo, has taken to social media to reveal he was able surmount life’s challenges and achieved a great feat despite having a pitiable early career as a lawyer.

He recounted how he graduated with second class upper from the university and had a pass from the Nigerian Law School.

Temitayo said he worked as a lawyer during his mandatory national youth service (NYSC) in 2017 in Oyo state and at the time, he earned N5,000.

According to the lawyer, he was able to work his way to leaving Nigeria to the United States, where he sat for the New York Bar exam and passed.

He eventually joined an upscale law firm in New York. Sharing his story to inspire many people in challenging situations, he noted that results don’t define people.

In his words;

”From earning 5k as an NYSC lawyer in Oyo in 2017 to leaving Naija, passing the New York Bar this week and joining an upscale law firm in the city
