Young man who got 6As in WAEC and gained admission still at home since 2015 due to lack of money

A young Ghanaian student awaiting entry into the university has been at home for six years due to his inability to fund his higher education.

The boy whose name was not disclosed, graduated from senior high school in 2015 but has been at home since then.

According to Ghanaian politician, Edem Agbana in a post on his Facebook page, the young lad got impressive grades in his WASSCE exam specifically, 6As and two B2s .

He subsequently gained admission to study Dental Surgery at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) but has been unable to go due to poverty.

While soliciting for help, Edem Agbana wrote;

”Just received another heartbreaking message. A young man who completed SHS 6 years ago , got 6As & 2B2s. He tried for 6 years to enter into university but POVERTY closed the door to him.

KNUST has offered him an admission to read DENTAL SURGERY but he is unable to afford so likely to forfeit this academic year as well.
