A Nigerian man, Giddy Willz has taken to his Twitter to warn against the trending #Silhouettechallenge many women and even have embraced on social media.

There’s a new social media trend called Silhouette Challenge that sees netizens go unclad in a dark room with a red-lit background while a particular classic song plays.

According to Giddy, the challenge is devilish and originated from 1814. He explained that it is a she-demon which possesses the mind of anyone who watches it.

The Twitter user further explained that the demon was trapped by men of God but it is now seeking to be freed through the new challenge on social media.

Sharing a photo, he wrote;

”Beware!!!

The #silhouettechallenge challenge is not good and it is very Devilish. It originated in 1814 Edo, Nigeria. It is a demon that possesses the mind of whoever sees her dancing. She was locked in the shadows of the night by some powerful Men of God.

“Now she plans to return back to the whole world through social media. If you’ve started watching the challenge already. Stop as soon as you see this. If you’ve partaken in the Challenge, run to River Jordan in any possible way you can now for cleansing. Avoid #silhouettechallenge”
